 HOME BIRTH

I am Amy Engelhardt (formerly Amy Patel). I first started my midwifery career as a Senior Midwife at BetterBirth in 2014. I then opened my own Birth Center, Tooele Midwifery, in Tooele, Utah in 2016. Tooele Midwifery was donated to my wonderful former student midwife, Bryanna Lee in January of 2020.

I have attended 699 births and helped 1,090 families throughout their childbearing years. I am a Certified Professional Midwife credentialed by the North American Registry of Midwives. I attended Midwives College of Utah specializing in Midwifery and attended Western Governors University specializing in business management. I am a single mother and have 6 beautiful sons: Avi. Milo. Talon. Noland. Luka. And our stillborn Otto.

I am intrinsically rooted in serving women and their families who want to have autonomy over their birth experience while remaining low-risk. I believe in serving my community with evidence-based, heart-centered care, while meeting the family's needs in birthing.

I am proud to offer holistic midwifery care for low-risk clients seeking home birth. Referrals are available as needed.

My care is inclusive, welcoming families of all race, faiths, belief systems, background, family dynamics, sexual orientations, and gender identifications.
